Week of September 11, 2017
Please be aware that you need to read and fill out the Reading Log nightly, the Week-in-Reviews come home typically on Friday and need to be signed by both parent and student and returned to school the following school day.
Monday- Library Day. The students will get their folders today so please be on the lookout.
Tuesday- TLW be able to identify nouns and capitalization and will get their spelling pages today. We will also be doing a close read on Elementary and Middle Schools.
Homework- Each night please read 30 minutes and log it into your Reading Log. You also need to complete the Spelling packet given in class today.
Please bring in your money for Wonder if you plan on ordering it through Scholastic. I have delayed our reading it until Mid September since some of the books have been slow to arrive.I will order the books this coming Friday to give everyone a chance to purchase through scholastic if they choose.
Wednesday -Today is a continuation of Tuesday's lessons
Homework- Each night please read 30 minutes and log it into your Reading Log. You also need to compelte an option from your spelling menu each night, as well.
Thursday- TLW begin to write a personal narrative in class. Please remember that spelling pages and grammar pages are due tomorrow.

Friday- We will somplete the spelling test today and work on our personal narratives in class.

Dear parents,
Once a week (or so) your student will come home with his/her folder of graded papers. Please look through all of the graded papers and then sign any papers that need to be signed and sign the weekly sheet, so I know that all of the papers were seen by an adult. Please also be sure you have seen and sign his/her “Week –in- Review” handout that will come home once a week.

Una vez por semana (más o menos) su estudiante llegará a casa con una carpeta de trabajos calificados. Por favor revise todas las hojas calificadas y luego firma cualquier hoja que se requiere firma y también firma la hoja semanal, así puedo asegurar que todas las hojas fueron revisadas por un adulto.
